Olubukola Akinpelu, popularly known as Mylifeassugar, is the latest cover personality for Yessiey Magazine. She is a Nigerian-born United States Navy sailor, BSN-prepared registered nurse, nurse coach, content creator, and the author of “The Ultimate Nursing School Study Guide.”
In her feature with Yessiey Magazine, she spoke about her journey in nursing and the motivation behind writing her book. She explained that the guide was inspired by her personal experiences in nursing school.
“I am passionate about nursing and helping aspiring nurses. I created this book from what I went through in nursing school, to help current and prospective nursing students study better and pass the NCLEX easily,” she said.
Mylifeassugar also discussed how she discovered her love for content creation. According to her, she began creating educational and uplifting videos during the COVID-19 lockdown to support nursing students who were studying online during that difficult period.
Her story highlights her commitment to education, wellness, and inspiring the next generation of nurses—both in the United States and beyond.
